Toyota Connected Services is a suite of advanced technology features designed to enhance your driving experience by keep you and your vehicle connected. By integrating with your Toyota app, these smart features give you access to the latest advanced technology at your fingertips.
Many Connected Services come with a complimentary trial period, after which a subscription is required for continued access. Availability and features vary depending on the vehicle model and trim level.

Remote Connect
Using The Toyota app on your phone or Smartwatch, drivers can use Remote Connect to check the status and control certain features. This convenient technology keeps you connected to your Toyota, even when you're not right beside it.
Safety Connect
Toyota's Safety Connect is there for you when you're in trouble, offering 24/7 access to help when needed most. Your Toyota vehicle needs to be within an active cell tower and be able to receive service within Canada and the United States.
Service Connect
Stay ahead of your Toyota's service maintenance and vehicles health. Service Connect provides real-time diagnostics, maintenance alerts, and proactive service reminders, ensuring that your vehicle maintains optimal performance.
Drive Connect
Drive connect uses a cloud-based system offering real-time navigation, destination assist with 24/7 live agent support, and Intelligent Assist for hands-free driving.
Toyota Connected Services: Remote Connect
Engine Start / Stop*
Start your Toyota and keep it running for up to 10 minutes on gas/hybrid models, and up to 20 minutes on electric/plug-in, plus the ability to turn them off using the Toyota app.
Door Lock / Unlock
Lock and unlock your doors using the button in the app. This is great if you can't remember if you locked the doors when you walked away from your vehicle, or if you need to unlock your doors and you don't have your keys at the moment.
Climate Control*
Have complete control of your vehicles climate settings, including both A/C and heating temperatures, defrosters, heated steering wheel and seats. Ensure your vehicle is warmed up on those chilly mornings!
Status of Windows
Never get caught running in the rain to check to see if you left your windows open! Use this feature to see if your vehicle windows are open or closed.
Last Parked Location
Can't remember where you left your Toyota parked? Never again! Remote connect with show you where you last parked your vehicle.
Rear Seat Reminder Notification
If the vehicle detects there could be a possible forgotten back seat passenger, it will send a notification through to your Toyota app.
Remote Climate Start/Stop
Preset your vehicle's temperature, operate defrosters and set a schedule for your cabin temperature before you go.
Lock/Unlock Trunk or Hatch
Lock and unlock the truck/hatch without having it impacting the doors.
Guest Driver Settings
This setting allows you to receive a notification if your guest is exceeding certain pre-set limits, such as speed. Use this features for your new teen that just started driving!

Stolen Vehicle Locator
This feature helps in the event that your Toyota vehicle is stolen. In the even that this happens, please do the following:
- Report your incident to your local police and obtain police report number, Office name and badge number
- Contact Toyota 1-888-869-6828 and provide information
Emergency Assistance (SOS)
In the event of an emergency, press the SOS button and you will instantly be connected with the Emergency response center, available 24/7 that can contact emergency services. Whether you’ve been in an accident, feel unsafe, or face a medical emergency, trained agents can dispatch local police, fire or ambulance services to your exact location using your vehicle’s built-in GPS and cellular technology.
Enhanced Roadside Assistance
Roadside assistance can be sent to your location when you use the SOS button, as long as you have an active roadside assistance plan. If you experience a breakdown, flat tire, run out of fuel or get stuck, simply press the SOS button in your Toyota to connect with a 24/77 response centre. What makes this enhanced version different is that your vehicle’s GPS and cellular telematics automatically transmit your exact location to the agent. That means roadside support can be dispatched with precision, no need to guess your whereabouts.
Automatic Collision Notification
In the event of a serious collision, suck as when one or more airbags deploy or impact sensors are triggered, the system automatically alerts Toyota’s 24-hour response centre. Once triggered, a trained agent will attempt to communicate with the vehicle occupants to assess their condition and confirm the location and if needed will notify and dispatch local emergency services.

Vehicle Health Reports
Stay informed about your vehicle’s condition and maintenance needs by monitoring key systems such as engine status, fluids, and tire pressures through automated reports. You can access these reports through the Toyota App or have them sent directly to your preferred Toyota dealer. If an issue arises, Service Connect can also send alerts and diagnostic details.
Warning Lights
Service Connect provides real-time updates whenever a warning indicator appears on your dashboard such as engine, tire pressure, or battery alerts and can be sent directly to your Toyota App and your preferred Toyota dealer.
Service Connect Communication
Automatically share important vehicle health and diagnostic information such as service alerts, maintenance reminders, and warning light notifications with your preferred Toyota Dealer so they can better assist you. When attention is needed, your dealer may contact you directly to schedule an appointment or discuss next steps.
Toyota Service Connect: Drive Connect
Cloud Navigation
Cloud navigation delivers real-time, cloud-based map data, traffic updates, and route guidance through the Toyota Multimedia system. It stays constantly updated with the latest road information and can pre-download data when entering low-connectivity areas to keep navigation running smoothly. Seamlessly integrated with Toyota’s Intelligent Assistant, drivers can search destinations and get directions hands-free. Use the wake up phrase "Hey Toyota" to begin your search.
Intelligent Assistant
Intelligent Assistant is seamlessly integrated with Cloud Navigation and Destination Assist, enabling drivers to search destinations, send routes, and get live help from an agent, all without taking their hands off the wheel. It can also adjust climate settings, control media, and access vehicle information, making the overall driving experience safer. Activated by simple wake words like “Hey Toyota”, "Hi Toyota", "Hello Toyota", or "Ok Toyota" via the steering wheel microphone button or by selecting the mic/magnifying glass on the multimedia display.

Destination Assist
Destination assist provides drivers with 24/7 access to a live response agent who can help find destinations and send them directly to the vehicle’s navigation system. Whether you’re searching for a nearby restaurant, hotel, or point of interest, the agent can provide personalized assistance and turn-by-turn directions based on your preferences.
