Toyota Genuine Accessory & TRD Accessory Warranty

If Toyota Accessory is purchased at time of new vehicle purchase and installed by Toyota dealer, parts & labour coverage:
3 YEARS / 60,000 km

If Toyota Accessory is purchased after your New vehicle purchase and installed by Toyota dealer, parts & labour coverage:
12 months / 20,000 km OR the balance of your new vehicle basic warranty (up to 3 years/)(60,000 km)

If Toyota Accessory is purchased from Toyota and installed by a non-Toyota dealer, parts only coverage:
12 months from date of purchase

What is not covered under warranty:

Maintenance services such as replacement of brake pads/linings and clutch linings
Noise, vibration, cosmetic conditions and other deterioration caused by normal wear and tear
TRD customers are responsible for ensuring that the use of any TRD Part complies with all applicable federal, provincial or local laws, regulations and ordinances

Replacement Geniuine Toyota Parts Warranty

If receiving replacement parts provided to you at no charge as part of the New Vehicle Basic Warranty and installed by Toyota,parts & labour coverage:
90 Days OR the balance of the new vehicle basic warranty (whichever is greater for parts & labour)

If replacement Genuine Toyota Parts are purchased and installed by Toyota, your parts & labour coverage:
24 MONTHS / 40,000 km (whichever comes first, for parts & labour)

If replacement Genuine Toyota Parts are purchased from Toyota and installed elsewhere, your Parts only coverage is:
12 MONTHS / Unlimited KM (parts only)

If replacement parts purchased from Toyota and installed by Toyota as part of Remanufactuered Parts Program are covered:
12 MONTHS / 20,000 km (whichever comes first)

What is not covered under warranty:

Parts replaced under extended retail muffler, shock absorber and battery warrantie
Replacements required due to wear, discolouration, deterioration, deformation, fading and normal noise
Replacement required after 6 months on the following items would be considered wear and non-warrantable: bulbs (except headlamps), filters, wiper blades & inserts, and fuses

Replacement Toyota Battery Warranty

If Toyota batteries are purchased and installed by Toyota, parts & labour coverage: 24 Months If Toyota batteries are purchased over-the-counter and installed elsewhere, parts coverage: 12 Months If Toyota Premium Battery purchase and installed at Toyota dealer, an additional pro-rata warranty covers a portion of the replacement cost beyond the 24 month period (see chart)

What is not covered under battery warranty:

Batteries that have been opened, dropped, contaminated, cracked, frozen or otherwise damaged
Failures caused by the use of incorrect electrolyte
Recharging of discharged batteries
Batteries that have been damaged due to overcharging
Batteries where the warranty plaque has been altered or destroyed
